The Renogy Core Mini 12V 100Ah is a compact LiFePO4 battery with integrated DuoHeat self-heating, designed for installations where space, weight and reliability are crucial.

With a capacity of 100 Ah, the battery combines high energy density with a very compact design. It measures just 229 × 138 × 213 mm and weighs approx. 9.7 kg, making it particularly suitable for motorhomes, caravans, marine installations and other mobile and off-grid applications.

DuoHeat – safe charging at low temperatures
The integrated DuoHeat technology utilises two heating elements with a combined output of 110 W. The heating is activated automatically when the cell temperature drops to around 5 °C, ensuring the battery can be charged safely at low temperatures.

The two heating elements ensure rapid and uniform heating of the battery cells, making the Core Mini suitable for year-round use – even in installations where the battery may be exposed to frost.

Integrated BMS with comprehensive protection
The battery is equipped with an integrated 100 A Battery Management System (BMS) that continuously monitors the battery’s operation. With more than 25 protection functions, the BMS system protects against, amongst other things, overcharging, deep discharge, overcurrent, short circuits and critical temperatures.

The Core Mini uses Grade-A LiFePO4 cells, which are designed for a long service life and deliver more than 5,000 cycles at 80 per cent Depth of Discharge (DOD). The battery supports a continuous charge and discharge current of up to 100 A, as well as a maximum discharge current of 300 A for up to 10 seconds.

Compact design and flexible installation
The Core Mini is approximately 45 per cent smaller than comparable traditional 12 V 100 Ah LiFePO4 batteries. The compact Group 22NF format therefore makes it easier to utilise limited installation space in vehicles, boats and other mobile energy systems.

The battery can be connected in both series and parallel configurations up to 4S4P. This allows for the creation of larger battery banks and the customisation of both voltage and capacity to suit the individual installation.

With an IP65 rating, the battery is protected against dust and water jets, making it suitable for demanding mobile and off-grid installations where a compact, robust and reliable LiFePO4 battery is required.
