The Renogy REGO 12V 35A AC-DC smart battery charger is a compact and high-efficiency solution for charging a wide variety of 12V battery types.

Designed for demanding off-grid, backup, and mobile energy systems, the REGO charger combines intelligent charging control with robust safety features and optional Bluetooth connectivity for real-time monitoring.

At its core, the charger uses an intelligent four-stage charging algorithm—Bulk, Absorption, Float, and Equalization (where applicable)—to optimize battery health and ensure efficient energy transfer. The charging current can be manually adjusted between 5 and 35 amps, allowing users to tailor the output to different battery capacities and usage scenarios.

This makes the REGO especially well-suited for systems with varying power needs or where careful charging management is essential.

Safe and stable operationunder challenging conditions
The REGO’s internal protection suite ensures safe and stable operation even under challenging conditions. It automatically guards against overcurrent, undercurrent, overtemperature, low temperature, short circuit, and reverse polarity connections.

For lithium batteries that have shut down due to a tripped BMS, the REGO includes a wake-up function that can restore operation by sending a controlled charging pulse—eliminating the need for manual intervention.

Advanced system monitoring
Clear LED indicators on the front panel show charging stage, system status, and any detected errors, providing immediate visual feedback without the need for additional instruments. For advanced system monitoring and remote configuration, the REGO can be paired with Renogy’s external BT-2 Bluetooth module. 

When connected to the Renogy DC Home app, users can access real-time data such as voltage, current, temperature, and fault alerts, and adjust charger parameters directly from a smartphone or tablet.
